How to Install Rocky Linux 10

Rocky Linux is a community-driven enterprise-grade Linux distribution designed to be 100% bug-for-bug compatible with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux). Rocky Linux 10 continues the mission of providing a stable and production-ready operating system backed by the community.

For CrownCloud users: Please mount the ISO "Rocky Linux 10.X" available from the CD-ROM section in the control panel.

Once the ISO is mounted (Task Log tab will show the status), navigate to the Power Control tab and perform a Reboot task on the server.

Select Install Rocky Linux 10

Select Language

Choose your preferred language and click Continue.

Network & Hostname Configuration

Select Network & Hostname and configure the connection.

If you want to keep the network as Dynamic/DHCP (default), enable the network and click Done.

(Optional) Static Network Configuration

For static IP configuration, click on Configure and enter your static IP details manually.

Disk Partitioning Configuration

Select Installation Destination to manage partitions.

Choose Standard Partition, then click the + button to add partitions.

Verify the partition layout, then click Done.

Accept the changes.

Root Password Setup

Click Root Password to set the password for the root user.

Begin Installation

Click Begin Installation to start the process.

During installation, make sure root password is set.

After installation is complete, click Reboot.

Wait a few minutes for the server to restart. You should then see the login screen.

Note: You can now use SSH to access your VPS.

Installation Complete! Rocky Linux 10 is now ready for use.
