Snapshot

Create Snapshot

Click on Create Snapshot to create your Snapshot

  • Wait for the process to complete.
  • Once built, Your VPS will automatically boot up!

Create Snapshot

This process may take at least 5 minutes or longer, depending on the size of your VPS.

The snapshot will be transferred to the backend snapshot store in the background. You can monitor its progress by clicking on Refresh.

Once the snapshot is created, you will see its UUID (Universally Unique Identifier), file size, and the timestamp of when it was built.

You can reference the UUID as the snapshot name when contacting our support team for assistance.

To Naming your Snapshots, follow this instruction Click here.

The snapshot size will generally be close to the total size of your VPS. If you notice that the snapshot appears significantly smaller than expected, feel free to contact our Support for further assistance. In many cases, a smaller snapshot size may be due to temporary data stored in /tmp, which is not included during the snapshot process.

To Restore Snapshot

Once the snapshot is created, you can restore it anytime as needed. Navigate to the Remote Snapshot section and click on Restore Snapshot, as shown below:

After clicking, the restoration process will begin. It may take a few minutes to complete. Once done, the system will revert to the state it was in at the time the snapshot was taken.

To Remove a Snapshot,

Click on the three-dot dropdown menu and select the Remove Snapshot option, as shown in the screenshot below:

Then, click the Remove Snapshot button to permanently delete the snapshot.
