How to Connect to FTP Account in cPanel Using FileZilla and WinSCP

1. Things to note:

• Hostname: cpanel-atl.kxe.io for Atlanta location or cpanel-de.kxe.io for Germany location.
• Port number: 10500
• Username: specified while creating FTP account
• Password: specified while creating FTP account

1. Using FileZilla,

• Kindly download the FTP client from their website and install the application: https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client
• Open the FileZilla application and enter the required information as shown below and hit Enter
• This will open a window that is connected to the remote FTP account directory, files and directories can be dropped onto this window to initiate File transfers.

1. Using WinSCP,

• Kindly download the FTP client from the website and install the application: https://winscp.net/eng/download.php

• Usage is fairly similar to filezilla, open the WinSCP application and enter the required information as shown below and hit enter

  

• This initiates a remote FTP connection to the FTP server, files and directories can be dropped onto this window to initiate File transfers.
