cPanel - Accessing my MySQL database remotely
This guide explains how to allow remote access to your MySQL database using cPanel. It walks you through adding a remote host IP in the Remote MySQL section, enabling external servers or applications to connect to your database securely.

Login to your cPanel
- Once logged in, click on “Remote MySQL

- Add the remote hosts IP in the box, here we've used the example “REMOTE.HOST.IP.HERE”

- Click “Add Host”: After adding the IP address, click Add Host. The IP will now be allowed to access MySQL remotely
